Rebel Beauty Bar was created by licensed esthetician, massage therapist, and certified acne expert Ellie Dixon as a space where skincare goes beyond skin deep. My approach blends skilled esthetics techniques with grounding, restorative rituals to support both your skin’s health and your overall well-being. I believe that true beauty comes from within, and each treatment is designed to help you reconnect with yourself, cultivate inner confidence, and appreciate your natural beauty. ELLIE'S STORY
Founder of Rebel Beauty Bar | Licensed Esthetician, Massage Therapist & Acne Specialist
For me, skincare is deeply personal. I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from your skin. I struggled with persistent acne from my early teens into my late 20's and spent years chasing a fix. I was in and out of dermatologist's offices trying everything from Accutane to countless prescriptions and topicals that left me feeling even more frustrated and my skin barrier in shambles.
Everything changed when I stopped fighting my skin and started listening to it.
I decided to take matters into my own hands and become an esthetician so I could figure out my acne once and for all -- and help others do the same. Becoming an esthetician allowed me to understand skin and body on a much deeper level. I finally began to heal when I learned how to work with my skin, not against it. That shift led me to my life’s work: helping others reconnect with their skin and feel confident in their natural beauty.
I bring a whole-body, intuitive lens to every treatment—blending functional skin science and internal support for lasting skin health. Whether you're navigating acne, inflammation, or simply seeking a deeper connection to your skin, I'm here to guide you with care and without judgment.
I’m a dual-licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist in the state of Texas, and a Level 2 Certified Face Reality Acne Specialist. I received my training from The School of Botanical & Medical Aesthetics and the Denver Integrative Massage School. I received my Sculptural Facial Massage and Buccal (Intraoral) Massage certifications from the Yin Portal Esthetics and Massage Training. I am in love with learning and continually attend webinars, classes, and continued learning to further my craft.
When I’m not at Rebel Beauty Bar, you can find me soaking up live music in Austin, hanging with my husband and two cats, or deep in a book. I can’t wait to meet you and walk beside you on your skin healing journey. Thank you for you trust - I don't take it for granted.
